The Tissue-Grinder is precision machined from type 316 stainless steel. Tissue is forced through a 0.1mm gap, breaking up larger lumps. Individual cells are disrupted by the rapid drop in pressure when they pass the pestle. The steel construction of the device allows a smoother motion and negates the risk of glass shattering and hand injury. It also has a convenient pouring lip and is autoclavable.
